This is what happens to potatoes in the cupboard when no one’s paying attention:
I should have put them in a cooler in the garage, but (…shoulda, woulda, coulda…) I didn’t. It’s too early to plant them and too late to eat them. Compost? Art? Thoughts anyone?

This week’s Dark Days Eat Local Challenge meal was my usual Mardi Gras meal, but all local:
pancakes, made with flour from Wild Hive Farm and Micro Mill, an egg from Ox Hollow Farm, milk from Stone Wall Dairy, and butter from Trinity Farm. (Baking powder and salt: origins unknown)
