Hot Hot Chocolate

  1. In a one-quart glass measuring cup

dark chocolate (optimally 70%)
1/4
c
whole milk

  1. Microwave for 20-40 seconds, until the chocolate melts into the milk.
  2. Stir in

crushed dried hot red pepper flakes (optimally cayenne)

T
maple syrup (optimally, the real syrup from trees)

oz
milk

  1. Microwave for one minute.
  2. Allow to steep for three minutes.
  3. Stir and strain pepper flakes from mixture.
  4. Microwave for another minute, stir and enjoy.

Options

Add vanilla or cinnamon or both along with the pepper flakes.
