Frozen Margaritas (a la Deb Thomas)

This is a mix of mixes and tastes quite delightful on the sweet side.

  1. In a blender, put the following:

8-10
 
ice cubes

  1. Add

 
 
tequila (Cuervo Gold or better)

up to the 14 oz. mark.

  1. Blend for awhile on a setting like crush.
  2. Add the following to the blender:

bottled margarita mix ice cubes (make in advance)
1/2
c
bottled margarita mix (unfrozen)
1
T
(heaping, like a dollop) frozen margarita mix (from a can, like Bacardi)
1
T
Rose's sweetened lime juice

  1. Blend for awhile on a setting like crumble.
  2. Serve in margarita glasses, salted or not, depending on your taste. Garnish with a lime wheel.
