Zeppoli (Addie's)

Yield: About 15 zeppoli.

  1. Mix together in a bowl:

lukewarm water

  1. Cover and let rise for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat to 375° F in a deep fryer

shortening or vegetable oil

  1. Drop mixture by tablespoons into hot oil.
  2. Fry until golden.
  3. Drain on wire rack.
  4. Shake in a bag with



confectioner's sugar
