Lemonade from Scratch

  1. Make a simple syrup by combining in a saucepan:

water

and heating until the sugar dissolves.

  1. Chill the syrup.
  2. Make the lemonade by combining

lemon juice (four to six lemons)

c
simple syrup (entire recipe above)
3
c
cold water

  1. Pour in a tall glass over ice and enjoy.
