Good morning! As I begin bringing together the foods I’ve foraged, prepared, preserved, cooked, and otherwise collected with people I love and love to feed, it seems fitting to take a deep breath and savor this last moment of quiet.
I am really grateful for my farmers and all the people who work for and with them to bring food out of the ground. I hope my menu today does your work justice. I am grateful for the people in my life, particularly those who remind me to be grateful. I give thanks to God (the Universe, Nature, or however you choose to call the Creator of all that is) for the many blessings in my life.
