Granola

There are many ways to make granola. Here's one way.

  1. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F.
  2. Mix the dry ingredients:

almonds (sliced, slivered, or otherwise crushed)

salt

sprinkle
cinnamon

  1. Mix the wet ingredients:

maple syrup (the real kind)

coconut oil

t
vanilla extract

water

  1. Combine the wet and dry ingredients and let it rest for about 15 minutes.
  2. Spread the mixture out on a cookie sheet.
  3. Bake for about 45 -55 minutes, turning and stirring a few times in the middle.

It's done when it's golden brown and dry.

  1. Cool completely.

You can add dried fruit at this point if you like.

  1. Store in an airtight container.
