Granola
There are many ways to make granola. Here's one way.
- Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F.
- Mix the dry ingredients:

almonds (sliced, slivered, or otherwise crushed) |

salt |

sprinkle |
cinnamon |

maple syrup (the real kind) |

T |
coconut oil |
1/2 |
t |
vanilla extract |
2 |
T |
water |
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients and let it rest for about 15 minutes.
- Spread the mixture out on a cookie sheet.
- Bake for about 45 -55 minutes, turning and stirring a few times in the middle.
It's done when it's golden brown and dry.
You can add dried fruit at this point if you like.
- Store in an airtight container.
