if that’s the holiday you’re celebrating. Otherwise, Happy/Merry whatever it is!
Since Christmas happens at my sister’s house and not mine, it’s not going to be local. It is, however, going to be Italian!
On Christmas Eve, we’ll do the traditional seven fish. (I’ll bring Snow Goose from McLaughlin Vineyards.)
On Christmas Day we’ll have appetizers, ravioli and gravy (a red sauce with meatballs, sausages, and pork braciole), and then a pork roast (because we couldn’t possibly eat another thing). For dessert, there will be cheese cake and homemade Christmas cookies. (I’ll bring the red wine from Walker Road Vineyards.)
Wherever you are, whatever you’re eating, whatever you’re celebrating: Enjoy!
A very Merry Christmas to you and your family!
And a very Merry Birthday to you Phyllis!
Happy Christmas to you and your family, enjoy the day together!
