Cato Corner Cheese

A publication called The Day ran this piece about Cato Corner Farm (exceptional raw milk cheesemakers) today. I am a huge fan of their Womanchego. If you’ve ever seen The Life of Brian, you know the saying, “Blessed are the cheesemakers.” (Warning: explicit language.)

Have a great day!

  1. Last year I enjoyed a cheese making mini workshop at Yale with Mark from Cato Corner. I love their cheese and their story, Mom and son working the farm together. He made cheese making look so easy. Have you ever tried the cheese from the Cheese Nun in Bethlehem? She studied in Europe for over 2 years and is really knowledable about the use of molds. In my next life I want to have goats and make cheese and yogurt…

  2. Maureen: I love their story too and their cheese. I have not tried cheese from the cheese nun in Bethlehem. I took a ride up there one day, but there weren’t any cheeses to be had. Hmm.
