Seriously, week 13 indeed! I was still without power on Thursday, my CSA pickup day, so my farmer (who moonlights as an angel) sent me home with three gallons of water and told me to come back for my share on Saturday!

Here’s the bounty from week 13 of my Sport Hill Farm CSA:

• 2 zucchini
• 1 bag of potatoes
• 1 bag of string beans
• 2 tomatoes
• 3 small sweet peppers
• 1 [huge] bell pepper
• 1 head of cabbage
• 1 bunch of Tuscan kale
• 1 honeydew melon
• 2 eggplant

Nice to have fresh food again after Irene!
